ABC Challenge: D is for OPI Don't Touch My Tutu
Hi lovelies! Sorry for the super late post but it has been an absolutely crazy day. I had class from 8-4 then spent the next few hours studying for the midterms I have Friday. Feels like I can't catch my breath sometimes! Anyway for this week's challenge we are to show you all a polish, polish brand or nail art technique that starts with the letter D.

Turquoise and Coral Frankens!
Good morning lovelies! Quick post about some frankens I have made over the past couple weeks. Lately I have been obsessing over coral and turquoise so that was basically all I could think about for my first frankens. I did have some issues with polish being too thick and stuff but I think I just need more practice finding out what works and what doesn't. On to the swatches!
First up is a coral jelly. I wanted this to be more sheer so I could use it jelly sandwich style so I'm not completely sure how I feel about this. The color is also less bright than I wanted it to be. I have to try wearing it again before I make up my mind. This is two coats without top coat. I love how shiny it is! For this one I used so many polishes I don't even remember them all (haha)

My First Butter London! Butter London Macbeth
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I have an extremely busy week (its midterms week already) so my posts will probably all be pretty short but I do have some exciting things coming up this week! For my first Butter London, I was actually looking for Trout Pout as I am on a coral kick lately. When I couldn't find it I was so disappointed, then I saw Macbeth. It was love at first sight.

Dotted Hearts! OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons and Revlon Trendy
Happy Friday everyone! I don't know about you but I am so happy this week is over. This is going to be a quick post as I have to get back to studying for midterms (eek!) This mani started out as OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons with Revlon Trendy as an accent nail but of course, I got bored of wearing it after a couple hours. I had no idea what I wanted to do with this mani but I loved the colors together so I searched around for inspiration when I found this at Dressed Up Nails. I discovered Whitney's blog only recently but I seriously adore everything she has done. It's amazing really. Anyway this is what I ended up with.

ABC Challenge C is for China Glaze!
As you all know I have been participating in the ABC Challenge hosted by Kimber from Kimber's Lacquer Korner! For this challenge we are to show a polish name, brand or type of nail art that starts with the letter of the week. This week we are on the letter C. I guess I subconsciously wore a lot of China Glaze this week so I will show you a few shades that I wore. China Glaze is definitely one of my top 5 nail polish brands. I usually really love their seasonal collections and adore many of the shades in the permanent line. All right enough rambling, on to the pictures!
First up is Surreal Appeal from the Cirque du Soleil collection! This is a great pink leaning coral (which I have been obsessed with lately- the weather here is so summery!) 2 coats with top coat shown below

Sinful Colors Island Coral
Hi everyone! Hope your week got off to a good start! :) The weather here is so nice (it hit 81 yesterday) that I have been in the mood for spring and summer polishes. It does not feel like winter at all here so I'm probably going to be showing you "warm weather polishes" for the next few days. Hopefully this will perk all of you with colder weather up a bit ;)
Island Coral is one of my favorite Sinful Colors shades ever. It is the perfect coral! I have been on a major coral kick lately so I was excited when I realized I had an untried in my stash. It is a lighter, pinker coral compared to a lot of the ones out there. I can't wait to try this as a pedi in the summer! The formula was great; it applied really easily in two coats.

Saran Wrap Mani!
Happy Monday everyone! Sorry for my lack of posting these past few days.... my sister and I both managed to get a bad bout of the stomach flu :( I feel like I've missed out on a bunch of stuff these past few days. To make it up to you I have a really pretty mani to show you! This is probably my favorite that I have done lately and I finally got a good color combo! :) Yayyy! For a saran wrap mani, you paint on your base color, wait until it dries, then paint on another color and quickly use little balls of saran wrap to take off some of the color. It ends up looking really cool like a stone of something. This is my first one that's actually been successful so I am excited to show you all!

ABC Challenge- B is for Sally Hansen Blue It!
Hello everyone! So as you know I am participating in the ABC Challenge being hosted by the lovely Kimber from Kimber's Lacquer Korner. For this challenge we are to choose a nail polish brand, color, or type of nail art for the letter we are on that week. Today I have Sally Hansen Blue It, a lovely cobalt blue with silver shimmer. Seriously beautiful. This is actually one of the very first polishes that started my love for nail polish so it holds a special place in my heart. I would wear it nearly every day in high school, and I still love wearing it.

Essie Skirting the Issue
Happy Monday! I don't know about you but I am not ready for the week to start! Hopefully some pretty nails will brighten up your morning.
So for this mani I started out with 3 coats of Essie Skirting the Issue from the Stylenomics collection from last fall. I really love this deep red jelly and was just planning on doing a nice, toned down mani for once.

Nails Inc. Sweets Way
Happy Friday! I have a lovely polish to show you today that I really really enjoyed wearing. It will be making another appearance for sure. Nails Inc. Sweets Way is a white base with pastel pink and blue matte glitter from their Sprinkles line. I really liked this a lot. It applies very nicely but it did need 3 coats for opacity, then 2 coats of Seche Vite to smooth out all the glitter. I think that has more to do with my application being sightly sloppy than the polish being too sheer. On to the pictures!

OPI Skull and Glossbones + Essie As Gold as it Gets
Good morning lovelies! Today I have a polish that I had been lemming for the longest time before I finally found it at TJ Maxx of all places. I missed out on the OPI POTC collection initially then later realized I wanted all of them, especially Skull and Glossbones. I love grays and polishes like this so I was extremely excited when I found it! :)

ABC Challenge! A is for Finger Paints Art of Theft
Hello ladies! Today I am starting my first challenge! I'm super excited to be participating :) For the ABC Challenge we are to pick a polish name or brand that starts with the letter we are on. I think that this will be a great way for me to go through some of my untrieds and show you all a ton of polishes! We will be posting every Wednesday, so keep an eye out for posts. All the links to the blogs of the other lovely ladies participating in this challenge will be at the bottom of this post :)
Art of Theft is a dark blue polish that had the prettiest pink shimmer in the bottle. In real life, it is slightly more purple...the last picture is the most color accurate

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Golden-I and Virtual Violet
Good morning lovelies! Today I have two beautiful polishes from Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear line to show you. This line of polishes is what started my nail polish hoarding collecting, so they are quite special to me. They usually have a pretty good formula, great variety of colors, and are very affordable, which I know you all love. I recently got these at CVS for 50% off due to their beauty clearance sale, so you should all look for it!
First up is Golden-I, a yellow gold polish that gives a foil effect. Shown below is 3 coats. The formula on this was great! It applied really evenly, no streaking or anything like that. While it gives the effect of a foil, it is actually a bunch of really tiny gold particles (much like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Celeb City which is Golden-I's silver sister). I really loved this and it will probably become by go to gold.
More pictures after the jump!

Essence Modern Romance and OPI Crown Me Already!
Happy Monday! Today I just want to quickly share my NOTD. I just bought Essence Modern Romance which is my first Essence polish! It is a lovely peach color with bright pink shimmer. The shimmer was more visible in the bottle than on the nail but it is definitely there even though it was hard to capture in photos. I also did an accent nail of OPI Crown Me Already on my ring finger.

Ulta Chic Peek
I just have a quick post today of a really pretty polish! Chic Peek was my first polish from Ulta and I really love it. I had actually been lemming this for a while and snatched it up during a buy one get one free sale they were having. Its kind of difficult to describe so on to the pictures!

Pink Wednesday! OPI Sparrow Me the Drama
Happy Wednesday! As per Mean Girls, on Wednesdays, we wear pink! I have about a million pink polishes and this is a fun way to show them to you guys. Today I started off with OPI Sparrow Me the Drama from last year's Pirates of the Caribbean collection. I wish I bought the entire collection and I'm still looking for a couple of them. OPI Sparrow Me the Drama is a nice neutral pink that is the tiniest bit dusty. I love dusty or greyed out polishes so this is perfect for me. I then layered a glitter over it that I had been lemming for a while, Seche Collage Overlay, pink (purple?) and holo hex glitter, silver bar glitter, and white hex glitter.
