ABC Challenge U is for Petites Utopia

Hello lovely ladies! Today we are making our way towards the end of the ABC Challenge (oh no!) and we are on letter U. I think that I only have a couple U polishes in my collection and this one was untried so I decided to go for this.

This beauty is Petites Utopia. Petites is a brand sold (exclusively, I think) at Rite Aid. The bottles are super tiny and they are definitely something that most people would walk right by. I did so many times and somehow this one came home with me one time. 6 months (?!) passed and I never tried it. No idea why I waited so long, because this is beautiful.

Utopia is a teal glass fleck in a jelly base. This was 4 coats and still tons of nail line visible, which I felt was disappointing.

This isn't doing it for you, right? Well it certainly wasn't doing it for me either. So I decided to layer it over black and this happened.

What we couldn't see when this wasn't layered over black was that this was one heck of a multichrome polish! This goes from teal to cobalt blue to purple. It reminds me of a something a mermaid would wear. I love this so much. Seriously, I would have never guessed that this random polish from Rite Aid might end up being one of my favorites of the year!

What do you guys think of this? I think you need it in your life, especially if you have a duochrome obsession!
