First up is Essie Come Here! (yes, with the exclamation mark). This to me was a bright red leaning coral. I love corals so for me this was a winner. Two easy coats.

Essie Resort Collection 2013 Swatches+Comparions
Hi lovlies! I want to share one of my favorite collections so far this year (my other being Orly Hope and Freedom). This is a rather small collection but all four polishes pack a punch and are pretty unique. All of these had a great formula, although I've seen other people say otherwise. I do in general like Essie's formula of their polishes for the most part though. And I like the brush though a lot of people find it rather small. Enough with the rambling and onto the pretty polish!

Insane Morning + Butter London Trout Pout
Good morning everyone! Its been a really crazy morning here in Orange County. A shooting spree occurred between 5 and 6am. The community that I live in is usually very quiet with few events and almost no crime. We get complaints if we can be heard talking from outside the house after 11. This morning I was shocked to hear that a woman had been shot just one street over from where I live. The shooter then went on to shoot 5 more in a neighboring city. My heart goes out to all who have been affected by this tragedy. No one deserves to get shot in their own home. No one. It really breaks my heart that these things have been happening so often, but now it has become scary that it is occurring so close to home. We don't know yet if it was random or planned, or who the victims and shooter are but it is scary to think that this could easily have been me or someone I know. I pray every day that God will keep us safe. I am at school now, but all I want to do is go home and hug my kid brother and sister. I know that this has gone to a kind of dark place but I just want to keep you guys updated on my life, both relating to nails and not relating to them.
To brighten things up a bit, I have one of my favorite Butter London's to show you! :) Trout Pout is a bright, almost neon, salmony coral color. So pretty.

Sinful Colors Timbleberry and Zoya Ziv
Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend so far :) Today I have a mani that I have been wearing for the past couple days. After wearing so many glitters I just wanted something simple.
This is three coats of Sinful Colors Timbleberry with Zoya Ziv on the accent nail. Yes, I know, another coral polish. What can I say, I'm addicted.

Turquoise and Coral Frankens!
Good morning lovelies! Quick post about some frankens I have made over the past couple weeks. Lately I have been obsessing over coral and turquoise so that was basically all I could think about for my first frankens. I did have some issues with polish being too thick and stuff but I think I just need more practice finding out what works and what doesn't. On to the swatches!
First up is a coral jelly. I wanted this to be more sheer so I could use it jelly sandwich style so I'm not completely sure how I feel about this. The color is also less bright than I wanted it to be. I have to try wearing it again before I make up my mind. This is two coats without top coat. I love how shiny it is! For this one I used so many polishes I don't even remember them all (haha)

My First Butter London! Butter London Macbeth
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I have an extremely busy week (its midterms week already) so my posts will probably all be pretty short but I do have some exciting things coming up this week! For my first Butter London, I was actually looking for Trout Pout as I am on a coral kick lately. When I couldn't find it I was so disappointed, then I saw Macbeth. It was love at first sight.

ABC Challenge C is for China Glaze!
As you all know I have been participating in the ABC Challenge hosted by Kimber from Kimber's Lacquer Korner! For this challenge we are to show a polish name, brand or type of nail art that starts with the letter of the week. This week we are on the letter C. I guess I subconsciously wore a lot of China Glaze this week so I will show you a few shades that I wore. China Glaze is definitely one of my top 5 nail polish brands. I usually really love their seasonal collections and adore many of the shades in the permanent line. All right enough rambling, on to the pictures!
First up is Surreal Appeal from the Cirque du Soleil collection! This is a great pink leaning coral (which I have been obsessed with lately- the weather here is so summery!) 2 coats with top coat shown below

Sinful Colors Island Coral
Hi everyone! Hope your week got off to a good start! :) The weather here is so nice (it hit 81 yesterday) that I have been in the mood for spring and summer polishes. It does not feel like winter at all here so I'm probably going to be showing you "warm weather polishes" for the next few days. Hopefully this will perk all of you with colder weather up a bit ;)
Island Coral is one of my favorite Sinful Colors shades ever. It is the perfect coral! I have been on a major coral kick lately so I was excited when I realized I had an untried in my stash. It is a lighter, pinker coral compared to a lot of the ones out there. I can't wait to try this as a pedi in the summer! The formula was great; it applied really easily in two coats.
