My Picks From the China Glaze Sunsational Summer 2013 Collection: Heat Index and Highlight of My Summer

Happy Wednesday! It's been really hot here so I thought it would be appropriate to start pulling out the neons for summer! Yay! These were my 2 picks (so far) from the China Glaze Sunsational collection

Heat Index is a neon pink jelly. This freaked out my camera! It is way more neon in real life. The thing I didn't like about this was the formula. This was 4 coats and you could still see my nail line quite clearly. The color is great though, and I want to try this for a jelly sandwich. 

American Apparel Summer Peach

Hi guys! Today I have a very pretty summery polish to show you all :) This is American Apparel Summer Peach, a super bright peach creme. I think this would look fantastic on tanned skin for summer. I also wore this topped with China Glaze Fairy Dust because it just makes everything better.

ABC Challenge N is for Neon

Hi guys! Today I am posting my letter N mani for the ABC Challenge. I though neon would be pretty appropriate as summer is coming up and weather here has started to get warmer. I am really looking forward to all the summer collections and can't wait to wear tons of bright and neon colors :)

ABC Challenge I is for Igniting Love

Hi lovelies! Hope you are all having a wonderful day so far! Today me and all the other wonderful ladies participating in the ABC Challenge are back with the letter I (I can't even believe we're already this far!) :) :)  Today I have China Glaze Igniting Love which is a beautiful red crelly from the Cirque du Soleil collection that came out earlier this year. I'm not usually one for reds but to me this was wonderful. Its red enough to be considered a red but it has some orange and pink tones to make it less harsh. Right up my alley.

Hi guys! Today I have some nail art I did a while back. I used a dotting tool for all of my dots (clearly I still need practice) This isn't as neat as I would have liked but I still wanted to post it on here anyway. Hope you guys like it!

ABC Challenge C is for China Glaze!

As you all know I have been participating in the ABC Challenge hosted by Kimber from Kimber's Lacquer Korner! For this challenge we are to show a polish name, brand or type of nail art that starts with the letter of the week. This week we are on the letter C. I guess I subconsciously wore a lot of China Glaze this week so I will show you a few shades that I wore. China Glaze is definitely one of my top 5 nail polish brands. I usually really love their seasonal collections and adore many of the shades in the permanent line. All right enough rambling, on to the pictures!

First up is Surreal Appeal from the Cirque du Soleil collection! This is a great pink leaning coral (which I have been obsessed with lately- the weather here is so summery!) 2 coats with top coat shown below

Penguins!!! **Pic Heavy**

Happy Christmas Eve! Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season so far :) Sorry for my lack of posting these past couple days.... I have been really under the weather for the past couple of days. But to make up for it I have a nail art post today! I'm fairly new to nail art and I am just trying to get things figured out but I think this is pretty good for a newbie :).  I started off with 2 coats of Revlon Royal, a royal blue jelly that applied like a dream (there was still some VNL but not enough to bother me). Before I go on about penguins I have to say that I adore this so much. I have been looking for a royal blue for a long time and this one is amazing.

Revlon Emerald and Nail Art!

So today I have some Christmas nail art for you guys! I started off with a base of Revlon Top Speed Emerald.  I had originally just planned on swatching this but I liked it so much I decided to wear it and do some nail art. I then put Sally Hansen Cherry Red on my thumb.

China Glaze Swanky Silk

Hi lovelies! This polish was on my wishlist for a while and I recently found it in a clearance bin at Sally's for $3.29. Awesome deal. I think this is a great gold/ rose gold duochrome. I know a lot of you may not love a polish like this, but for me it is quite fun.
