ABC Challenge J is for Butter London Jack the Lad!

Hi everyone! Today is letter J of the ABC Challenge! I can't believe we have all made it this far :) For this challenge all the participants choose a polish name, brand, or nail art technique that begins with the letter of the week. For this week I have Butter London Jack the Lad from last year's winter/holiday collection. It is such a stunner! I liked this a lot more than I expected to.
Jack the Lad is dark blackened green with a ton of bright green shimmer along with a bit of blue shimmer. At different angles the shimmer looks different, making it a really complex polish. I really love shimmery polishes like this but I wasn't totally sold on the green so I put off getting this. I found it in a set of 3 at Nordstrom Rack so it was a total steal. So pretty! 

I believe this was 3 easy coats. The formula is kind of thin but if you don't have much free edge 2 coats would probably be fine. I topped this off with a coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. For my base coat I used a DIY peel off base coat(which is basically just diluted white glue).




I am really starting to adore Butter London. It is slowly heading toward my top 3 polish brands. :) Hope you liked this! Be sure to check out all the other participants and their lovely J manicures!

    Pretty!! It actually reminds me a little of Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri In a Flurry. I used it last week, there both dark green/black with different color glitter. Your nails look so good too!!

    Very pretty - blue shimmer is really coming through on the photos. I have yet to get my first Butter polish; the store near me never has anything like this in stock!

    Hi, Elle! Jack's a pretty polish and one that's on my wish list. I'm such a BL fan. Just adore their formulas, especially ones like this...the microglitters.

    They apply like no other polish. Amazing stuff.
