Dotted Hearts! OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons and Revlon Trendy

Happy Friday everyone! I don't know about you but I am so happy this week is over. This is going to be a quick post as I have to get back to studying for midterms (eek!) This mani started out as OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons with Revlon Trendy as an accent nail but of course, I got bored of wearing it after a couple hours. I had no idea what I wanted to do with this mani but I loved the colors together so I searched around for inspiration when I found this at Dressed Up Nails. I discovered Whitney's blog only recently but I seriously adore everything she has done. It's amazing really. Anyway this is what I ended up with.

Clearly not as awesome as Whitney's but I still love it! I love these two together and am happy I could do a cute and girl mani without glitter or any pink (not that I don't like pink and glitter). 

Revlon Trendy. I am seriously impressed. It was an easy one coater that flowed onto my nail like silk. Seriously, it might as well have painted itself on. I was always sort of put off by Revlon, but lately I have been very impressed by them, especially with all the Deborah Lippmann dupes. Don't Pretzel My Buttons also has a great formula and is opaque in two coats. This pulled very tan on me but it does have some pinky undertones in real life. I'm really glad I decided to pick this up.
