First up is Surreal Appeal from the Cirque du Soleil collection! This is a great pink leaning coral (which I have been obsessed with lately- the weather here is so summery!) 2 coats with top coat shown below
Next up is Peachy Keen, a great peach that I think is wonderful for spring! It was a bit streaky on the first coat but worked out fine with 3 thinner coats. I am a sucker for peach polish so of course I loved this.
This is First Mate, an amazing navy creme. I think I may have found the navy creme of my dreams in this polish. It isn't too dark to the point where it looks black on the nail but it goes on well and no staining or streaking to be seen. This is two easy and delightful coats.
The final look that I have is Def Defying (bright green creme) topped with Whirled Away a black and white glitter both from the Cirque du Soleil collection. I was totally impressed with Def Defying but I was really disappointed by Whirled Away. Hardly any glitter came out on my nail in a single coat and there was a lot of fishing around for glitter, especially the white hex glitter. Def Defying will definitely be making a repeat appearance, especially in the spring and summer!
Whew! Hope you liked all the China Glaze spam! Be sure to check out all the other lovely ladies in the challenge! Which of these is your favorite? Surprisingly I think Def Defying might be my favorite of the 5.

ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of China Glaze, and I was looking at Def Defying and Surreal Appeal at my local SallyBeauty, but not sure how they would look. I think I'm going to have to go back and pick them both up.
ReplyDeleteYes! Go grab Def Defying especially!
DeleteChina Glaze is one of my favorites too. But I'm so sad I missed the peach color from this collection :(
